Protip - the grill from a '60 Falcon does not fit a '63, like, at all. Mostly because of the hood latch. However, since I'm going to TR-6 style the hood: I'ma not give a fuck, took it off. (Example TR-6 after the jump.) Other fit issues will be resolved be me MAKING METAL THINGIES. Meanwhile, I took out the original 3-speed (still in) and the driveshaft, and though you can't see it in the pic, the passenger front fender is loose. I'd been told Falcons have their serials three places: strut brace, door, and *hidden* under the outer passenger fender. Myth confirmed - it does have one there, and the firewall rust on that side isn't as bad as I'd feared. The rest of the time was taken up sorting the parts of the Ranchero that I'd never taken out of the bed and seeing the bed empty for the first time. (POTATO PHONE AFTER DARK). That tailgate inner side is belled out like DAMN.
. While I was doing this, it was BONDO DAY again on my cousin's Rover "Busted", and it's within a couple hours of ready for primer. W00t.

I should note that the resemblance to a TR-6 in general with what I'm doing (front clip proportions, inset grille bookended by headlights, blade bumper, etc.) took me months to notice, but only because I'm a dullard.
